rain cried as she watched her mom and dad drive away in the car. they left her and her bff fire at some stupid hospital place that was an asylum or something as if they were crazy. but rain wasnt crazy! she shouldnt be in a loony bin like this but if she did have to be here than at least fire waws with her. she didn't think she could do it without her best friend there to hepl her. she loved fire more than anything even if she didn't tell anyone that she loved her.

she was still crying as she stood in the reception of the asylum next to fire waiting wile some visiters got there passes to go and see people. she wondered if her parents would come and see her and rain or not. it felt like they were leaving and never coming back again but she had to belive they would be back or shed cry even more. "its not fair fire. why did they have to leave us here? we wer happy at home!" it just wasnt fair that they had to be at this stupid place. besides there was a school dance soon and now they couldnt go to it and rain had been really looking foreward to that dance for ages.

the people in front moved and the reseptionist called them forward to talk to them. her mom and dad had called alredy so they had their files and stuff but rain didnt want to make it easy becase she didnt want to be here. "my name is raine amore" she said becase she new the name on her file would be anne frank.

The only reason why she wasn't fighting this was because Rain was with her. Fire was terrified of being separated from her friend who was the only one she could count on to put out her fires when she lost control. Sometimes she wished she could be her fearless other half all the time, but she knew that was not only impossible but not very practical. If she'd been fearless, she would've told rain how much she loved and needed her rather than keep pretending to not be in love with her.

"I'm just happy they didn't take you away from me," she said grabbing her friends hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "I couldn't survive being here without you." Anyone who knew the girls knew they were inseparable and she hoped the staff of this bloody place realized it as well. "Maybe we can still be roommates?" As much as she'd come to love rains parents, it was rain she couldn't stand to be away from. It didn't much matter to her where she was as long as her friend was there too.

Following rains example, she opened her mouth and told them her name was Fire instead of what the file said it was. She didn't even realize she was still holding rains hand in her own.

rain squeezed fires hand and smied at her friend. she was really glad that she was there with her because she loved fire both as a friend and as something more than a friend and she didnt wnat to ever have to be away from fire or seperated from her for a long time. "i hope we still get to be roommates. or we will have to have a lot of sleepovers in each others rooms" she liked that idea but she liked the idea of being roommates even more. she didnt want to be in a room with people she didnt know. and what if she didnt like them either. what if they were really crazy and wanted to kill her or soemthing?

the woman at the desk didnt look happy when they both gave their names and had a hard time trying to find there information files. rain giggled and covered her mouth with her hand while looking at fire. the harder it was for her to find their files the longer they wouldnt have to be inside the crazy house. maybe they could make a run for the door. rain and fire were still holding hands and she squeezed it and nodded at the door to see if fire wanted to try run away with her so they didnt have to get locked up here.
